About Dr. Changdev Uddhav Dhakne
Dr. Changdev Dhakne, MBBS, MD PAEDIATRICS , FNNF Fellowship in Neonatology IPPN (European Society) is a compassionate and accomplished Neonatologist and Paediatrician based in Pune. He specializes in the management of critically ill newborns, extremely premature babies, and high-risk neonatal care. With a commitment to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care, Dr.Dhakne ensures that each baby receives personalized attention with the latest neonatal therapies.
Expert in Advanced Neonatal Care and High-Risk Newborn Management Dr. Dhakne holds core expertise in neonatal ventilation (including HFOV), neonatal hemodynamicsupport, and management of complex critical newborns with surgical and cardiac issues. He’s also a specialist in developmental follow-up of high-risk and extremely premature babies, ensuring their growth, nutrition , vaccination and neurodevelopmental outcomes. Advanced Neonatal Procedures In addition to resuscitation and ventilation management, Dr. Dhakne is highly skilled in procedures like central line insertions (UAC, UVC, PICC), lumbar puncture, exchange transfusions, nitric oxide therapy for PPHN, and chest tube insertions for pneumothorax and pleural effusion.

About Dr. Shweta A. Hajare

Dr. Shweta Hajare is a dedicated pediatrician with a calm and compassionate approach to child care. With a strong foundation in clinical pediatrics and neonatology, she believes in delivering holistic, evidence-based care that addresses not just the illness but the overall well-being of every child.

After earning her MD in Pediatrics from Ashwini Rural Medical College & Research Center, Solapur, and her MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Sangli, Dr. Shweta has gained extensive experience managing complex neonatal and pediatric cases, particularly during her residency from 2022 to 2025.

She is pursuing Basic Pediatric Pulmonology Course (BPPMC) by IAP NRC

A specialized course by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics – National Respiratory Chapter, focusing on the diagnosis and management of pediatric asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic cough, and other respiratory illnesses in children.

Her clinical acumen includes neonatal resuscitation, advanced ventilation strategies (including HFOV), and invasive procedures like PICC, UVC, and exchange transfusions.

She is also actively involved in academic research, with her thesis and presentations focusing on neonatal care topics like Retinopathy of Prematurity. Dr. Shweta has presented at reputed conferences such as MAHANEOCON and MAHAPEDICRITICON and received accolades for her work.

Dr. Shweta is passionate about team-based pediatric care and strives to uplift pediatric health services to the next level. She is currently practicing at Radhey Clinic,where she co-leads with Dr. Changdev Dhakne, providing child-friendly, quality care tailored to the needs of families.
